Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.  I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."  And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.

Jesus loves kids!  He has a special place in heaven for children to grow and learn the things of God.  It's here where the angels instruct the children, sing with them, and give them a chance to play, make friends, and do things they weren't given a chance to do on Earth.  The kids were taken, for various reasons, before their time was up on Earth and before they had an opportunity to accept or reject Jesus as their Lord.  Some were victims of abortion and never got to meet their parents.  Some were stillborn and others were stricken with childhood diseases.  But this doesn't bother the children.  They only wait in joyous expectation and hope for their family to join them in a great reunion once they have finished their time on Earth.
