Heaven's Tour Guide

At one time, thousands of years ago, in the Garden of Eden, people never got sick.   Since then, however, we have turned from God and have been born sinners ever since.  Along with sin came a lot of consequences.

"By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return." Genesis 3:19

Women must go through pain in childbirth, men must work the ground to eat, and everyone eventually dies.  Each of these consequences will last for the life of the human race, but sickness is not one of them.  Even though sickness entered the world when Adam fell, God has still given us a way to live without it.

  • In Exodus 15:26 God is revealed as Jehovah-Rophe, or God My Healer.

  • In Isaiah 53:5 it is prophesied that by Jesus' wounds we are healed.

  • In Luke 4 Jesus proclaims his fulfillment of prophecy and demonstrates the power of God to heal the sick.

  • In Acts 20:10 Paul raises a man from the dead, many years after Jesus had ascended to heaven.

Our God is The Healer, He is the Great Physician.  God has healed ever since mankind first needed healing and He has not stopped since. God does not need to use a doctor to heal, nor does He need to use medicine.  The Holy Spirit of God can restore your body right where you are simply by coming near you.

"And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up."  James 5:15

Wherever you are pray to God for your healing.  Pray with the understanding that the blood of Jesus has covered your sins and given you the right to receive God's power.

If you do these things you will be healed.
